Is the ECM telling you combustion is incomplete on more than one cylinder—or that misfire is hopping around so fast the controller will not pin a single P0301–P0308. You feel it as a rough idle that cleans up or worsens with load, a check-engine light that may flash under hard acceleration (raw fuel dumping into the catalyst), and sometimes a sharp exhaust snap. If misfire counters reset after a clear but climb again only above a certain load, re-check secondary ignition under that exact tip-in rather than at idle—many coil and fuel faults hide at curb idle.
